AroFlo charges $80 a user. Your field crew shouldn't cost that.

Credit where it's due: AroFlo publishes its prices, which most of the big platforms won't. But every seat at the office-software rate is the wrong shape for a field crew, and if scheduling is what you're actually buying, the maths gets one-sided fast.

The maths, out loud

AroFlo's published entry price is $80 per user per month with a three-user minimum, plus a setup fee, so the floor is $240 a month before anyone in the field has a login. Dayboard prices seats by what the person does: a field worker who needs their schedule, their documents and their prestart is $5 a month, not $80. A typical eight-person crew (one admin, one manager, six in the field) is $65 a month including GST on Dayboard. The same eight people all needing logins at AroFlo's published rate is $640. That's not a discount; it's a different shape of product.

When AroFlo is the better choice

Straight answer:

  • You want invoicing in the same system as the schedule and the timesheets, and the schedule is just one tab of it.
  • Your field staff do office-shaped work on site, raising purchase orders or invoicing from the van, where an $80 seat earns itself.
  • You're a service business running hundreds of small tickets, not crews and machines on jobs.

When Dayboard is the smarter buy

Built by an Australian civil contractor for his own crew, priced so every phone on site gets the app.

  • Scheduling is the product, not a module: crew, plant and vehicles on nine views, double-bookings caught as you book, maintenance on the same board so nobody books the machine that's at the mechanic.
  • $5 field seats mean the whole crew is in: schedule, drawings, SWMS, prestarts, site photos and timesheets, instead of one shared login in the ute.
  • Compliance watched for you: tickets, inductions, regos, services and subbie insurance certificates, flagged before they lapse.
  • No setup fee, no minimum, month to month, and the first 20 companies get 30% off for life.
  • Leaving is easy, on purpose: cancel in the app, export everything any day you like.
